The Higher Education Commission in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is offering Scholarships for local students of Pakistan. The USAID is committed to play its role in the progress and development of the higher education sector especially in the fields of energy, agricultural sector, economic development and humanitarian assistance. These scholarships are for the students of Undergraduate and Graduate who want to pursue their studies at the universities of Pakistan.

Field of Study / Subjects

Students can complete their Undergraduate & Graduate level degrees in the prescribed disciplines at the selected 31 Pakistani universities and degree awarding institutions

• Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences
• Business Administration
• Social Sciences
• Engineering & Tech
• Medical

Other latest Scholarships in Pakistan are also offered for different degrees and subjects all over the Pakistan.

Number of Scholarships

Total numbers of awards are offering 1807 scholarships for Undergraduate and Graduate students as a 50% Female Seats.

Duration of Scholarship

Duration of scholarship for Undergraduate 4 and 5 years and Graduate 2 Years and 3.5 years programs.

Scholarship Description / Details

USAID scholarship offered under this program provides funds for the following expenses:

• Tuition Fee
• Lodging
• Transportation
• Books
• Other Academics Costs
• Students at both private & public sector institutes have found the scholarship extremely helpful in sustaining their educational expenses

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the USAID, you must be:

• The applicant must be a Pakistani/AJK National
• Having an excellent academic record
• Only those students who are enrolled in first semester/ professional year in the respective courses offered by the participating institutions are eligible to apply
• The eligibility of a candidate is linked to neediness of the candidate as determined & assessed by the financial background of his/her family

How to Apply / Download Scholarship Form / Documents Required

Applicants, who want to apply for this scholarship:

• The Students can obtain complete Scholarship Application Form from the Financial Aid Office (FAO) at the participating University/Institution or can be downloaded.
• The Scholarship Form will be submitted along with supporting documents to the same FAO office after completion.
